Reviewing my new Kindle
My current Kindle is about 10 years old - I even looked up the model number to make sure. With that being said, I think I was well overdue for a new one. Plus mine goes with me everywhere, and I mean everywhere. I read in the car, in lines, at coffee shops, breweries, restaurants, intermissions; you name it I’ve probably read there.
I did however tell myself to wait until there was a good sale to take advantage of and Black Friday/Cyber Monday was the perfect opportunity.
First let me break down the differences between each kindle and then I’ll show you the one I went with.
The standard kindle comes in this adorable new matcha color that I really was tempted by. It has 16gb of storage and is the smallest option at 6" - so it’s great for people who travel or are always on the go. I decided against it because its battery life isn’t as great and I personally wanted mine to be closer to the size of an actual book.
It’s normally $109 but for Black Friday it’s on sale for $89!
Next up is the Kindle Paperwhite, normally $159 but is on sale for $129. It’s the perfect size at 7" and keeps a charge for up to 12 weeks with 16gb of storage! It comes in black, raspberry, and jade colors. I originally was going to buy this one and pay extra to remove the ads lock screen. But then I realized if I was going to do that I might as well buy the Paperwhite Signature, because not only does it automatically come without ads but it’s got double the storage. It comes in the same color options but they’re metallic with this version which I love. It’s currently on sale for $155 but is normally $199.

✨ Double the storage
✨ Automatically comes without ads
✨ Metallic Jade color
✨ 7” vs the smaller 6”
𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐈’𝐦 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐭:
✨ It’s SO much faster & clearer than my old kindle - which to be fair was 10 years old
✨It’s closer to the size of an actual book
✨It auto adjusts the light
𝐍𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬:
✨ So far my only con is the same I had with my old one - the power button is on the bottom so when I put it in my tote bag I just put it in upside down to avoid it turning on in my bag
